Gryfno

Gryfno means “nice” in Silesian. The game brings you logic puzzles of the kind you solve with a pen on squared paper. Every day at midnight (by your phone’s clock) a new puzzle of each kind appears, the same for every player, so you can compare times with friends. Monday’s puzzles are the easiest, and each day of the week gets a little harder, up to level 7 on Sunday. All the puzzles are in the game, so it works without the internet.

In Stars you place stars so that every row, every column and every region has the same number of them: one on easier days, two on harder ones. Stars never touch, not even at the corners. In Rectangles you divide the grid into rectangles: each one holds exactly one number, which tells how many cells that rectangle covers.

Once you solve a puzzle, you can share your result, such as “Gryfno · Stars #127 · 1:42”, together with a picture: a card with the date, the level, your time and the starting grid, lightly blurred. The card doesn’t show your moves or the solution, so it won’t spoil the fun for anyone.
