Contact
Have a question, a problem or an idea? Write to kontakt [at] radiska [dot] eu. We answer in English and Polish, usually within a few days.
If something doesn’t work, tell us which phone or tablet you play on, which version of Android it has and what exactly happened. A screenshot helps a lot.
Restoring purchases
The full version is bought separately in each store: a purchase from Google Play works in the game from Google Play, and a purchase from Huawei AppGallery in the game from AppGallery.
Google Play
The full version from Google Play belongs to the Google Account it was bought with. On a new device or after reinstalling the game, it usually comes back by itself. If it doesn’t:
- Check that you’re signed in to Google Play with the same Google Account the game was bought with, and that you’re connected to the internet.
- Open the game and go to Settings or Full version (every padlock leads there).
- Tap Restore purchases.
A purchase waiting for payment (for example in cash) or for a parent’s approval unlocks by itself once it goes through.
Huawei AppGallery
The full version from AppGallery belongs to the Huawei account it was bought with. On a new device, or after reinstalling the game, it usually shows up by itself. If it doesn’t:
- Check that you are signed in on the device with the same Huawei account that bought the game, that HMS Core is up to date, and that you are connected to the internet.
- Open the game and go to Settings or Full version (every padlock leads there).
- Tap Restore purchases.
If the game shows an Install HMS Core or Sign in button, tap it and follow Huawei’s instructions. A purchase from Google Play doesn’t unlock the game from AppGallery, and vice versa.
Clearing the game’s data
All the game’s data (saved puzzles, progress, streaks and settings) is only on your device. To delete it, open Android’s Settings → Apps → Gryfno → Storage → Clear data (the names can differ a little between manufacturers). Uninstalling the game also deletes its data from the device.
If Android’s backup is turned on, it can bring back your saved puzzles, progress and settings when you reinstall the game. To start completely afresh, clear the game’s data after installing it, as above. A full version you bought doesn’t go away: it comes back from your Google Account or Huawei account.
Frequently asked questions
When does a new puzzle appear?
Every day at midnight, by the time set on your phone. Each day has one puzzle of each kind, the same for every player, with the day’s number, such as “Stars #127”. Monday’s puzzles are the easiest (level 1), Sunday’s the hardest (level 7).
Why do some days in the Archive have a padlock?
In the free version you play today’s puzzles and those of the 7 days before. A puzzle started or solved in that time stays available for good. Older days, Practice and Statistics come with the full version.
How does a streak count?
A streak is the number of days in a row on which the daily puzzle of a kind was solved on its own day. Solving a puzzle from the Archive doesn’t add to a streak. Today’s puzzle, while still unsolved, doesn’t break the streak until the day is over.
How do I share my result?
Once you solve a puzzle, tap Share. The game opens Android’s usual sharing sheet with a short result, such as “Gryfno · Stars #127 · 1:42”, and a link to the game; for a daily puzzle also with a picture that doesn’t give away the solution. You choose where to send it.
Can I turn off the red mistakes or the sounds?
Yes, in the game’s Settings: Show mistakes and Sounds.
Does the game work without the internet?
Yes. All the puzzles are in the game, so new ones appear without the internet too. You need the internet only to buy or restore the full version.
How do I change the game’s language?
The game uses your device’s language. On Android 13 or later you can set another language for the game alone in Settings → System → Languages → App languages, then choose Gryfno (the names can differ a little between manufacturers). The game is available in 10 languages; in any other, it shows in English.
Which devices can I play on?
Android phones and tablets with Android 8.0 or later, from Google Play or from Huawei AppGallery. New Huawei devices with HarmonyOS NEXT (HarmonyOS 5 and later) don’t run Android apps, so the game isn’t available on them.
How do I get a refund?
The stores handle payments and refunds. Google Play’s refund rules are described in Google Play Help. Huawei handles refunds for purchases in AppGallery under its own rules: you can request one through Huawei Support, giving the Huawei account that bought the game. You can also write to us. After a refund the full version turns off at the next purchase check, but your saved puzzles stay.
About the translations
My games and this website are available in many languages, but I don’t speak them all. I used automatic tools to help with the translations, so I apologize in advance for any mistakes and awkward wording. If something sounds wrong – in a game or on the website – write to kontakt [at] radiska [dot] eu and send me the correct version. I’ll be happy to fix it.
