If something doesn’t work, tell us which device you play on, which system version you have and what exactly happened. A screenshot helps a lot.

Restoring purchases

The full version is bought separately in each store: a purchase from the App Store works on Apple devices, and a purchase from Google Play on Android.

iPhone, iPad and Mac

The full version belongs to the Apple Account it was bought with. On a new device, or after reinstalling the game, it usually shows up by itself. If it doesn’t:

  1. Check that you are signed in to the App Store with the same Apple Account that bought the game.
  2. Open the game and go to Settings, or Full version in the menu.
  3. Tap Restore purchases.

If someone in your family bought the full version, you get it through Family Sharing, as long as they share their purchases. A purchase waiting for a parent’s approval unlocks by itself once it is approved.

Android

The full version belongs to the Google Account it was bought with. On a new device, or after reinstalling the game, it usually shows up by itself. If it doesn’t:

  1. Check that you are signed in to Google Play with the same Google Account that bought the game, and that you are connected to the internet.
  2. Open the game and go to Settings, or Full version in the menu.
  3. Tap Restore purchases.

Google Play doesn’t share in-app purchases with your family (unlike Apple’s Family Sharing), so each person buys the full version with their own Google Account. A purchase waiting for a parent’s approval or for payment (for example in cash) unlocks by itself once it is complete.

Common questions

Can I play on two devices on Android?

Not yet. Playing on two devices side by side is available for now on iPhone, iPad and Mac; it will come to Android in an update. It will then work between two Android devices, not between Android and an iPhone.

The game on two devices doesn’t find the other device

  • Both devices need Wi-Fi turned on. They don’t have to be on the same network, and no internet is needed.
  • The first time you play, the system asks for access to the local network, and you have to allow it. If you chose “Don’t Allow”, turn access on in Settings: Privacy & Security → Local Network → Paper Soccer (on a Mac, in the same place in System Settings).
  • Playing on two devices is part of the full version, so both devices need it (it can come through Family Sharing).
  • Keep the devices close to each other, in the same room.

Can I undo a move?

With two players on one device, always. Against the computer, at every level except the Professor. On two devices, only if the player who created the game turned undo on, and with the other player’s consent.

Where is my unfinished game?

The menu shows Continue game. Each game mode remembers its own game. The first move of a new game in the same mode replaces the old one.

How do I reset the statistics?

In the menu, go to Statistics and choose Reset statistics.

How do I change my name for games on two devices?

In the game’s Settings, in Your name in nearby games. Otherwise the other player sees the device model, such as “iPhone”.

Does the game work without the internet?

Yes, the whole game works offline, including playing on two devices. You only need the internet to buy or restore the full version.

How do I change the game’s language?

The game uses your device’s language. You can choose another language just for the game in the system Settings, on the game’s page (on a Mac: System Settings → General → Language & Region → Applications). On Android 13 or later: Settings → System → Languages → App languages, then choose the game (the names may differ slightly between manufacturers).

Which devices can I play on?

iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 17 or later, Mac with macOS 14 or later, and Android phones and tablets with Android 8.0 or later.

How do I get a refund?

The stores handle payments and refunds. For a purchase in the App Store, you can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Google Play’s refund rules are described in Google Play Help; you can also write to us.

About the translations

My games and this website are available in many languages, but I don’t speak them all. I used automatic tools to help with the translations, so I apologize in advance for any mistakes and awkward wording. If something sounds wrong – in a game or on the website – write to and send me the correct version. I’ll be happy to fix it.
